Healthy Community Design (HCD) is an urban planning, design, engagement and analysis team that helps to increase the health and well-being of communities. HCD specializes in creating the following four interconnected value themes:
- Analysis - We create compelling maps, statistical analysis and visualizations based on objective data,
- Engagement - We create meaningful public engagement and participation opportunities,
- Planning - We create land use and transportation planning processes to inspire and manage change, and
- Design - We create and implement beautiful, vibrant and resilient places to live, work and play.
HCD is driven by the desire to create healthy communities focused on people our wprojects are guided by the following three priorities:
- People are active, happy and connected;
- Natural Environments are diverse, protected and resilient; and
- Economies are vibrant, prosperous, and sustainable.
